About Me:
Hello! Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Rafael Arias Torres and I am a recent college graduate from Northeastern University where I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science and Game Development.. I’m a massive fan of the Pokémon series, Transistor, Valorant, and early 2000s Facebook memes (in an ironic way).
While in university, I was able to work on multiple game projects, learn game design principles, and further cement my skills as a programmer. My passion has only flourished as I have become more knowledgeable on design principles in both computer science and game design. My role as president of the Game Development club in college made me learn to manage large-scale game jams both locally and globally. My love for both programming and video games has made me eager to seek out a job in the games industry, as games were the leading factor in what made me have such a memorable childhood.
