Antithesis – Programming

Project Description:

Antithesis is a VR game with asymmetric gameplay. One player plays through the headset, while another player plays with them through a PC. This game was created by a development team of six students.

  • Created a mana system for the PC player that allows for the summoning of monsters within the VR environment seamlessly. Mana system automatically refills after a certain duration and depletes depending on what specific monster is dropped into the game environment.
  • Designed in-game traps for the VR player to use while in the game world to stun or kill monsters; depending on the enemy, the traps will react differently.
  • Collaborated with a team of designers to implement their designs and ran multiple playtests to test said designs once programmed in Unity.
